  • Dear Alan,

Just want to add to Gary’s comments to thank you again for a great trip. It was particularly impressive how you adapted to the abnormal water conditions..and still found us silvers. It was a great memory, and I look forward to seeing you again next year.

  • Thanks again for the great day on the Kenai. It was a great trip and very
educational talking to you about the different fishing techniques you use.
It should help me improve my fishing success on Oregon rivers. The King
salmon was obviously a nice extra as well.

  • Dear Alan,

What can I say, but what a great vacation and fishing experience for all of us. In fact, my over-riding comment would be to anyone considering a visit to Alaska with fishing in mind, I would INSIST they contact you for their most memorable experience. The four of us really enjoyed the amenities, the ability to kick back and relax while cooking after, or hanging by the fire pit. Feeling like we had the place to ourselves but you were always there when we needed something, which was rare, since everything was well thought out and provided for.

I will be forever “spoiled’ having to “share” a facility with someone else again. It was everything I could have hoped for, far exceeding our expectations for a good time.

We had a chance to talk to a number of people at the airport, in the plane, who did not have nearly the success ratio we did. One guy had a business party of 12, and between them all, caught two kings in 4 days! Not only that, they stayed at a B&B, but everyday they had some different guide, there was no consistently in their itinerary. Not good.

Al, I’m sure you know you’re market, but I wonder if you’re not under priced. I’m sure as you build up your referral network (count me in it!) and repeat business builds, you can leverage that. But gosh, I think for what we got for $1600, six nights lodging , even at $200 a night, means we got your services, expertise, wit, and flair for fun for a couple hundred bucks! A bargain!

(Believe it or not, we had no issues with Northwest on the way home! Still, we were all awake for 33 hours, so I slept 12 hours last night, from 8pm to 8am.) But, did I mention, it was sure worth it! Had lox and bagels this morning and tonight my family comes over for salmon bake on cedar planks on our grill! (Just to show off!)

Best to you guys and keep up the great work!

    Fondly,

    Mike

  • Hi Alan,
My husband and I stayed with you once before and had a once in a lifetime fishing experience. It was AWESOME!!! We are having our 20 yr. wedding anniversary July 1,2015 and considering spending it at your fishing camp. We previously stayed with you the last week of June. It was perfect because you took us trout fishing most days and that’s what we are interested in fishing.
We are looking to stay four nights five days. Please let me know what is a available and the price.
    Thanks Alan,
    Angie

Our cabins are double occupancy and have a private bathroom and 24/7 access to a fully equipped cookhouse cabin where you can store food, prepare meals, and it’s a great place to hang out. The lodge can accommodate groups of up to 4 guests (min 2 guests for 3 nights) and is very well appointed with gourmet kitchen, soaking tub, covered porch with fireplace, and so much more…

How it works

Arrive in Anchorage
We recommend that you plan your flights to arrive by 6 pm so you save time and money by driving directly to the lodge where the real action is!

Drive to Lodge
Once in Anchorage, pick up your rental car and drive 150 mile incredibly scenic miles on a modern highway onto the Kenai Peninsula to the town of Soldotna. Along the way you can see all sorts of wildlife, snow capped peaks, glaciers, waterfalls and, of course, stunning scenery.

Check-in
Check-in to the lodge and get a quick briefing on your scheduled activities. Once settled, pick up a few groceries and fishing license in town a few miles down the road, kick back into relaxing camp life and you’ll be out on your adventure the very next morning.

Go Fishing and Experience Alaska!
From here on out, simply meet your guides prepared for an adventure with warm clothes, lunches, and cameras and let them get right to work for you plying some of the best salmon, trout and halibut fishing water in the world! After your trips, there is also time to explore more of the Kenai or relax at the lodge soaking in the great view or casting a line in front of your accommodations!

Home with Fish and Lifetime of Memories!
We’ll clean and fillet your catch each day so you can take it to the local fish processor who’ll vacuum pack, freeze, and store your catch as well as help you pack it for your trip home all for under $1.75/lb! Perhaps the most lasting benefit of your trip will be the quality time experiencing the “Last Frontier” together with friends and family or individually.
